Jeffrey S. Bailey DVM

Jeffrey S. Bailey DVM

Dr. Bailey grew up here in Utah. He graduated from Weber High School and attended Utah State University where he earned a Bachelor of Animal Science degree. He was accepted to Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bailey and his family moved to a small town in Southern California. He practiced small animal medicine and surgery there for 10 years eventually owning 2 small animal hospitals. In 2007 a chance to return to Utah came and he and his family happily took it. Dr. Bailey started a relief veterinary service covering for time off for local veterinarians.  

Dr. Bailey and his wife Monica have 4 children. They have more animals than can be named here including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs! They are a family of animal lovers. With kids and animals they are always busy with everything from baseball to soccer, violin to choir.  They live on a small hobby farm in West Weber. The whole family is excited to be involved in delivery of veterinary care at the new hospital. 

 

 

Derek P. Lowe DVM

Derek P. Lowe DVM

Dr. Lowe grew up in North Ogden, Utah.  He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology. He started working at Farr West Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician while pursuing his degree. In 2014 he was accepted into the Washington Idaho Montana Utah Regional Program in Veterinary Medicine. He Attended 2 years of veterinary school at Utah State University in Logan Utah, and 2 years at Washington State University in Pullman Washington, before graduating with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. 

Following veterinary school Dr. Lowe and his wife Lauren returned to Utah and accepted a position at Farr West Animal Hospital. Their first daughter, Reed, was born one month after graduation. They have 3 dogs, Mia a standard poodle, Tucker a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, and Toodles a miniature Schnauzer. They enjoy spending time with family and traveling, especially to the beach! They are both very excited to be back at Farr West Animal Hospital.

 

 

Kenneth M. Kovarik DVM

Kenneth M. Kovarik DVM

Dr. K was born and raised in Colorado. He earned his Bachelors degree and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. He practiced for years in Colorado and Iowa before moving to Missouri. After fifteen years in Missouri his family jumped at the chance to move back west to Utah. 

Dr. K and his wife, a veterinary professor, have two grown children and too many cats to name. They love living in Logan, and he is very happy to join the team at Farr West Animal Hospital.

Briggs P. Fulton DVM

Dr. Fulton grew up in Spanish Fork Utah. He studied biology at Utah Valley University and was accepted into The Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah (WIMU) Regional Program in Veterinary Medicine. In 2019 he and his family, consisting of his wife Marissa and his two children, moved to Logan Utah. He spent two years at Utah State University as part of the WIMU Regional Program, where he had his third child before moving to Pullman Washington to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Washington State University.

During his fourth year of veterinary school Dr. Fulton externed at Farr West Animal Hospital in hopes of being hired. After Veterinary school Dr. Fulton was excited to accept an Associate Veterinary position at Farr West Animal Hospital!

Dr. Fulton and his family now live in North Odgen, Utah and enjoy spending their time biking, hiking and exploring outdoors. Dr. Fulton also has dreams of playing Disc Golf semi-professionally and becoming the worlds best Dad.
